Blood Pressure Control Assistant

BPCA 2.2 enables its users to log their
blood pressure readings (systolic & diastolic pressure and pulse) providing a
useful help for hypertension control, follow-up and prevention.
Hypertension increases
the risk of developing many fatal diseases like heart failure, heart attack,
stroke (brain damage), kidney disease and eye damage. That happens because the
victims of chronic hypertension were not aware of their condition, as
hypertension doesn't show any signs or symptoms at an early stage, that's why
it's so important to start tracking your blood pressure now !
BPCA is ideal for both patients and
doctors; it's intuitive graphical interface makes it easier to enter and view
readings; it also alerts the user of their hypertension stage (prehypertension,
hypertension stage 1 or hypertension stage 2) according to JNC 7, the latest
report of the Joint
National Committee on Prevention, Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of High
Blood Pressure.

- Add, edit and delete as many patients as desired.

- Alerts the user when a reading indicates
prehypertension, hypertension stage 1, or hypertension stage 2, and
associates an icon to each of these stages for each reading.

Also, graph and view all the readings, or the readings taken in a period of

- View readings taken in specific (and customizable)
periods of time.

patients or for a specific patient; the report can be exported to pdf, .doc
and .xls (MS Excel) files, for easy data sharing between the patient and the
